The Operations Pool is used to pay for all project overhead, logistics, and growing the project. This includes but is not limited to $PXT buybacks, Project X liquidity, team payments, project marketing, and any other operating expenses required.

The Smoothing Reserve is a flexible project reserve that can be deployed wherever needed depending on needs and market circumstances. The Smoothing Reserve may be used to buy back $PXT, supplement the Rewards Pool, or take any action deemed beneficial or necessary to ensure project sustainability.

The Treasury is the source of Project X's investments. The Treasury is funded with AVAX acquired from node creation and Sell Taxes, and holds a combination of AVAX and project investments. These investments will be a mix of yield-bearing assets, long term equities, and flexible income generating assets that can provide more income to the Treasury and project as a whole, such as PoW block creation (mining) and PoS block validation. They may also include other items, such as L1 assets that are deemed to have upside price potential to further the future profitability of the Treasury.
